I wanted see if i could print something larger then then 220 x 220 x 270 mm confines of my printer. Having spent the last six months playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The master sword seem like a no-brainier.

There are plenty of files and YouTube videos out there to get you started. I went with Chaos Core Tech's excellent files and video.
I had to print out the sword in pieces (about 6) and glue it together. The trick would be hiding the seamsOnce I had all the pieces printed I glued them with gorilla glue and then applied bonding putty? The idea is once it dries you hit it with a sander.Once the putty said I hit it with the sander and smooth most of the seams away. As you can see it's still a little bit wonky but not awful for my first attempt ever at making a sword. Aside from the empty paper towel rolls I pick up here and there. Before the glue was dry I held the sword over my head he-man style for fun and forgot there was a ceiling fan above me. So I had to do it a second time. Looks so easy when Link does it.I finished it off with a coat of paint.
